License Renewal Requirements

How many hours of continuing education am I required to complete?

Georgia Cosmetology and Barbers board licensees are required to complete five (5) hours of continuing education courses to renew any of the following license types:

• Master Cosmetologist

• Hair Designer

Georgia Cosmetology and Barbers board Instructor licensees are required to complete five (16) hours of continuing education courses to renew any of the following license types:

• Nail Tech Instructor

• Cosmetology Instructor

• Barber Instructor

• Hair Designer Instructor

• Esthetician Instructor
